At Genesis Kajukenbo, we exist for a purpose far greater than training alone. Founded in 2023 by Sifu James Scott, we boldly step into the martial arts community to reflect the truth, strength, and calling that God in Heaven has entrusted to us. Every class, every lesson, and every student is part of that mission.

We are committed to delivering exceptional Kajukenbo training that forges not just skilled martial artists—but tomorrow’s warriors and leaders.

Who We Train

We proudly train students ages 9 and up, creating an environment where youth, teens, and adults can grow in skill, confidence, and character together.

Training Schedule

• Tuesdays & Thursdays: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM 
• Saturdays: 10:45 AM – 12:00 PM 

About the Founder

Genesis Kajukenbo was founded by Sifu James Scott, whose background brings real-world credibility and depth to the training. With over 14 years of teaching experience, Sifu Scott has served in law enforcement and public safety, giving him firsthand knowledge of real-life conflict and situational awareness.

He is also a former head instructor for the Boise State Self-Defense Program, where he trained individuals to respond effectively under pressure. His instruction is rooted not only in tradition, but in practical application that works when it matters most.

Our mission is clear:
To develop effective martial artists who are prepared to act when it matters most.
